Everything you listed is an easy fix except that gas gauge. Coming from a bike that did'nt have one to one that does. One minute it's full the next you got two bars and it's blinking. Does not inspire confidence on a long ride on an unfamiliar route, other than that i luv my 9. God Bless Mack

Going to have to agree...the only thing that I think would make this beast better is a 6th gear. I find myself hunting for it all the time. That problem should be solved with the addition of the GIPro that I just got...but still....it would be nice to have a "highway" gear. Imagine how much better this bike would be on longer rides if it was cranking along at 2500 RPM's at highway speed (70-80) and how much fuel you'd save on longer runs....

That being said, I love the gearing that the bike currently has. I wouldn't change those at all...just add another gear at the top for highway speeds....

Hey Kenny,

As for the stock fuel gauge, if you remember that it doesn't drop the first bar until you're at about half a tank and then has a good scale after that, you can get used to using it.

11 Harleys, 1st boulevard....very impressed for the $...if the gague lites the last gallon (pump) in the lite panel, who cares about the bars? They are just an estimate. Harley fuel gagues are like the bars, it reads full for a good distance and the second 1/2 tank goes right down. The fuel pump light is on before you know it.
