C109RT Suzuki Saddle Bag Emblem Lost
After only two weeks I lost my Saddle Bag Suzuki Boulevard emblem and called Suzuki Dealer, they initially told me I had to order the whole bag at over $300, flabergasted, I called the Suzuki Company and they told me to call the dealer back and give him the part# 99OA0-770020, I did and they are ordering the part to be sent diectly to my house.
After looking at the other Saddle Bag I found out that there are three prongs on the Emblem held on to the bag with 3 washer type spring clips and one had already fell off- leaving only two spring washers left.
I fixed the problem by drilling a hole on each prong and inserting a nail through the hole I drilled and bending it around so it would not fall out.
I'm confident that I won't loose any more emblems.
By the way Suzuki said the price for the Emblem is $20.
Bottom line- Secure your Suzuki Emblems.
