I am thinking of purchasing a 260 for my rear (bike). How much roughly for the tire?
My rule of thumb is approximately $1 per centimeter? Is that close?

They say the Dunlap Elite 3 is as wide as the 280 tires. It actually measures exactly the same. I put a 280 on mine, I am just waiting to see any uneven wear

I did some research when I got home and came up with this. The Dunlop should run around $160. Here is a link to the thread.

i went with the metz 150 in the front and a 260 for the rear ..
what a differance in look -- the 150 is awsome -- looks huge up there --- doesnt really effect the ride in my opinion..
the fender is really tight, and small rocks will scratch around the underside ..just alittle trim and you will have plenty of room , or just leave it.
the metz really stick to the ground.
