Ive had a M109R for 2 years now, it has 7K miles on it, it has a set of Cobra Drag pipes and the heat shields are breaking off on both cylinders, where they hose clamp on, nearest to the exhaust port, i suggest that if any of you have these pipes, definitely look at those areas, there more then likely broke, eventually they will fall off, i emailed Cobra and they were unwilling to help me with there defective design, but they offered me a new heat shield for approximately 140 each, that being the case i will be buying new pipes, but they wont be Cobra!!! if you need a picture, i can send photos
