Ok My 9 came with the Suzuki sport shield so I've never ridden without one but I have say it does keep the wind off of you!!! and I think it looks great. I've looked at the others but don't like there looks including the Corbin Fairing!!! so good luck with your search!!!

Sorry 16,000 miles 1 and a half years later and still no shield. They slow you down.;)

Have the memphis shades hell cat it's a small shield handlebar mount. 19" from top of headlight cut out to top of shield. Had it on my vstar1100 custom not tall enough to keep wind off my face, but kept off my body pretty good. Went with dragbars and decided I didn't like it on the bike anymore. So it's been languishing in storage for a year. GOD BLESS MACK

I fit a Switchblade from National cycle on my nine. It is from a VTC and I reversed the brackets to go in and intstalled the mounting studs on my risers, keeps the wind off my chest and head and is off as fast as I can pull it off.

I have the Sportech and it works well for me. Quick release works well and is stable.
