Ordered a new rear tire today

I checked out Jake Wilson (http://www.jakewilson.com) but I saw the same price at Motorcycle Superstore (http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com) and I've always had great luck with them. I like to stick with someone that I know gives great service & that I've never had a problem with, so that's the route that I went.

I'm pretty sure that I'll be ok with it. It's only 10mm wider and it shouldn't sit any different on the bike. We'll see.
I saw today that I really need to get ride of that stupid Metz that's on the front. Might break down & do that before my road trip the first weekend in October.

Mike Moy is planning a ride with a bunch of mutual friends in Arkansas/Missouri. That's the same weekend as Bikes Blues & BBQ, but we're going to avoid most of the usual roads like the Pig Trail, but there are still TONS of roads that are fun to ride down that way. Just going to ride for one morning/day since I can't take days off in October.
