I'm plaining to ride the weekend of the 29th to Galena IL.

maybe ride in the Iowa side on Route 52 ?

Should be a good ride.
Make sure that Sept 3rd that you're at sluggers...that'll be the next time that I'm home. I'm bringing my bike one way or the other...if I have to bring it in the back of my truck & just unload it for a ride while I'm there...I'm doing that...LOL

I think that Margo is setting it up. Unfortunately, I have to be back in town for an appointment with my doctor at 3PM. That's the main purpose for me coming to town. I've been thinking about extending my days off by a day and not coming back until Tuesday. If I do that, then I'll be in town up there on Saturday too. We'll have to see how things work out as that gets closer.

Mike, cool! Hope that I have a bike by then. Mine took a crap on me...the fuel strainer is screwed (from what I hear) and the bike shop was already closed by the time that I figured out what I needed, so I'll have to get up early tomorrow & call them. Some say that it takes 4 days to get it. Maybe they'll get it a little quicker if they know that they get to do the work too (also known as monetary compensation).
It started bogging down like crazy this afternoon when I was leaving work to come home. It runs fine up to 3K RPM, but then blammo...bog...
I was able to ride it home at "pre-break-in" speeds, but that SUCKED!
