Well I went to the Dells last weekend and I thought I could hear some howling form the front end, when I got home I was sure it was the bearing going bad. I put the bike on the lift and sure enough the front bearing are gone, sounds bad (metal on Metal).

I have a new set comming from DLP, the rims I recieved from them must have had some unproperly sealed bearings or something because I only have about 5000 miles on the new rims and tires.

So hopefully I get them before next weekend.

Well I have also had just a slight air leak in the rear wheel also, looked around on the tire and did not find anything, thought it was slight leak in the valve stem, well it wasn't, found a small nail in my tire today.

I am going to call the shop tommorrow and see if they will oatch it, but I dought they will. guess I will have to buy a new rear tire and dick with taking the tire off again.

Looks like shop work for next week

Hey Bud get ahold of me if you want to do your bike this weekend.

HOLY CRAP! That's some sucktastic luck!!!
Yes, I'd most certainly like to work on my bike this weekend as well as assist you in any way that I can on your bike.

Damn the luck that you've had...I say that we kick someone's butt...LOL
No, I didn't say that you should kick MY butt...hehe

I'll give you a call Monday evening...gotta hit the doctor, but the leg is pretty much healed all up...they should give me a clean bill of health!!!!!!!

I found a rear tire on-line and then had DLP price match and beat it by $5 bucks so that is not to bad, but man tires have really gone up since this fall, I am sure it has to do with the oil prices.

I also have new bearings and a cush drive comming for front tire,

SO just waiting on some parts..............

I know i just ordered another 260 metz rear tire. Im doing a iron butt with Rich and Allen to colorado on the 31st through the 3rd. I was noticing its time for a new front tire as well.

Not to mention Karens bike needs a new rear tire. Im going to put fresh tires on front as well though to match them up. Her tires both barely cost more than 1 damn front metz tire on our bike.

I really need to start getting more than 3-4K miles out of rear tires.

Glad that you found one Busa (was gonna say Mike, but you're both "Mike" so that doesn't work)....

Moy...yeah...they're painful! 3-4K out of a rear tire is just NOT enough!!!
I might have to go with a Dunny E3 on my next one. I really like the grip of the Metz...but it seems to be wearing awful fast!

I actually got 4k out of my metz rear and the dunnie i have on right now has less than 3k miles and its about shot. Handling on the metz is MUCH better than the dunnie as well. Dollar for dollar i believe the metz is superior. I dont recommend a dunnie rear with metz front either. That is the current combo i have and i get speed wobbles in turns. Rich has the same combo and has commented on the same thing before. I believe they dont track the same and it causes it. With either 2 metz or 2 dunnies though no problems.
