Hi Paul!
How's life in my favourite city in the world??
Welcome aboard! Your bike sounds great!
I've been wondering a few things about the area....
Are there any "twisty" roads near-by that a guy can have some fun on, or is it mainly straight roads that you can open the beast up on?
With a bike as big as ours, most would think that it's more fun riding at high speeds. I've discovered that the bike is more fun between 0 - 60mph (0 - 120kph) than it is from 60 - 130mph (120kph - approx 250kph). This thing is a blast to burn through a twisty road. I know for sure that at least one other poster here agrees with that!
Anyway, enjoy and may you always have good riding weather!!!!

G'day Ctatyk, The roads around the area that i ride are a combination of twisties if you ride up through the ranges or straight highways along the coast, i really enjoy the o-110klms per hour speed range a great way to relax and ride , :) , i have found at petrol stations fill ups take a bit longer with people wanting to ask about the 109 , Paul .....
Hi Paul
Welcome to the forum

*chuckles* I hear you about fill-ups taking longer!
I was headed out for vacation with the bike in the back of my truck (small truck) and this guy came over and wouldn't shut up about my "bad ass custom bike" and no matter how many times I told him it was a Suzuki...he wouldn't give it up. I finally had to take a picture of the Suzuki plastered just above the tail light and show it to him to get him to stop with the "Custom" talk. Then, he wanted to talk about the performance of the bike and how I liked it. I spent the entire time with a smile on my face and we talked for about an hour.
Yes, I lost an hour of vacation, but he was happy talking bikes and I'm always happy to talk bikes.
Great news to hear about the roads down under!!! I'd just almost kill to be there now!!! Even with the petrol prices being as high as they are.
Peace bruddah!
