I'm picking up my bike from the shop in a little bit...gotta mow the grass tonight...
Tomorrow (Saturday), I'm going riding.
I haven't decided if I'm hitting Galena or Hannibal....or somewhere else....
If anyone has any ideas or wants to go for a ride...post here & I'll check in a few times tonight.
Keep the rubber side down & the smiley side up!
I have to work today but going to Savana Sunday can you go then?

I've never laughed so hard as when that kid on the SuperHawk backed down off of BusaBeater!
I promise to behave a bit more next time! Thanks for letting me cruise with you.

I had a blast, nice meeting Tim today, thanks for lunch(again)Bud,
I just hope that kid gets some gear and learns to ride before he starts flying passed people then puts the brakes on into a long sweeper,
Good weekend for me

Honda SuperHawk 0-1

Yeah, it was quite cool meeting Tim!
Always nice to meet another cyclist! He's pretty damned cool too!
I'd like to ride with Jim & Tim on the busas! However, they'd have to spend a lot of time waiting for us.
I'm not absolutely positive, but I think that I might have met Jim and/or Tim last year at a maid-rite in Moline. They both looked kinda familiar and those guys that I met were on busas and rode together regularly...makes one wonder!
Great count that ya got going there.
I'm only 1-0 on my weekend.
I suppose that it could be said that I got to roll on that kid too...*grins*
But, we did it twice...so...
I, too, hope that he gets some better gear and a great deal of experience before he starts exploring the limitations of that SuperHawk!
It was great that you two waxed the super chicken that guy did not have a clue:D

Yeah...best looking one of the bunch...:D
He kinda reminds me of Bruce Campbell...
I think that I was referring to that great big guy with bleached blonde hair, pierced ears and the really fast-stock M109R...LOL
yes the guy on the black M109R was the fastest one in the group must be the hair LOL
did you get some Super Chicken feathers on your helmet as you blew by him:D

Well, I'm planning on riding down to Peoria to spend some time with friends there. If the weather stays looking as good as it is right now....I'll be cleaning the beast up for a run over to Hooters to show off a little bit.
On a positive note, I found my same jacket in both leather & unvented textile!
Leather - $299.00
Unvented textile - $149.00
I'm thinking seriously about getting them both...but I'm having a REALLLY hard time convincing myself that I need another leather jacket. I'll definitely be getting the unvented textile though....
That would have been much nicer on that ride Sunday!
Maybe I'll wait until Sunday to ride down to see them. LOL....
When "IS" Ducky's bike night anyway?
bike nite is Thursday mostly orange and black
just watch out for all the oil in the parking lot LOL

Anyone that wants to ride tommorrow let me know there is a group of us leaving some time in the later morning to go to Sutcliff Iowa, it is a old town and has a 100 year old bar and old wooden bridge that you can walk across, the bridge and bar/dinner are a very cool site, if anyone is interested just post in here, I dont know the excact times for leaving yet as my Step-dad is the one who mentioned it to me along with some others will be going.
I will find out later tonight about times and such and will post them, or if some one wants to ride on Sunday also because I will be doing this alot this weekend:D

Jim it should be just a nice casual riding, the scenery when you get to sutcliff is really cool, the old bridge is very long and you can go on it, the food there is great and very cheap, a great spot to take some pics so should be a good time.
I will be pretty tame tommorrow the mom is riding on the back of the step-dad's bike and I dont like giving here heartattacks, so I TRY to behave hahaha
She about died seeing me wheelie passed her on my busa once:cool:
Including you that should make 6 bikes going so far, should be fun Jim see ya around 10:30 or so, fromn here we go to Donahue Ia, then ride to Sutcliff about 70 miles or so and the people I am with will probally take a break half way there.
Thanks Mike its was a good time and we stayed below 125 MPH LOL:)
Was nice riding with you and the hole group was a great bunch even if they were on HD'S.
Meeting the drummer from Lynn Allen was also cool he's a great guy

Sounds like ya'll had a fun ride!
I went out through the back roads of Illinois & actually found some curves over towards central Illinois after I "got lost". I started taking a left and then a right and repeated that at every intersection. Then, I got my bearings at a gas station and proceeded on to the route that I had originally chosen and had an absolute blast riding to Peoria. I hooked up with my friends and we went to Hooters to watch the UFC. The really cool part is that the fights this time were better than most any UFC event that I can recall. Then, I rode home today and hit a little very light rain. The roads were wet, but I had a front door from some woman driving a Rainier. She was rolling at 90-95 and I just tucked in & followed her almost all the way home.
Volvo...,,,
ok now I get your post o and my dad has a white Volvo wagon the lame non turbo model

jens mom is crazy, well her whole family is, anyways whenever her mom sees a mustang she says "Mustang" so as a joke me and jen always point out to each other when we see a Volvo.
I don't know how anyone could drive the non turbo one.
The first one we drove was turbo and then a few years later when we bought ours I drove a non turbo one, gotta have the turbo.
