My friend is comming down to, we are installing 10 led's on his vs800, I will be posting lot's of pics later tonight.

This has been a expensive winter.

Well here is the update, A REALLY BAD DAY..........

First started out by going to put the chrome drive shaft cover on, to do this you have to take the exhaust of to tighten the bottom bolt, so I do this and then try to put the new tips on the Slashdowns, nope not going to fit, the bottom pipe for some reason just will not take, after about 2 hours of grinding and trying everthing the neighbor comes over and slips in right in, go figure.

Then I go to put the ram-mount on the handlebars and secure it tight and I snap the damn thing in half, well the nieghbor has a idea and it works so all is good on that part

Got the gps installed, cigarette lighter on the side installed, new chrome drive shaft with led behind it installed, also took the tank bra off and reallly enjoy the look with out it. only problem is I have had it on since the purchase of bike new and still had to take the warning stickers off tank, there goes another 1.5 hours man that sucked.

And finally the nail in the coffin, get ready to change the oil, start to loosen the drain plugs and yep STRIPED both of them, must have tighten them to tight last oil change and they gave when I loosened them, the actual oil pan is striped not the plugs, SO great I have a nice challenge ahead of me for Sunday, too late for the stores tonight maybe heli-coil, or re-tap, or self tapping bolt,,,,,,, who knows............. but today sucked big timed

Looking foward to what Sunday has to offer...........

Update will follow

Today I started at about 9am, got neighbor to help, went to TruValue and got a tapper and a heily-coil set, removed oil pan and drilled it, then did the new coils in, water tested the pan and al seems ok, cleaned it up nice and put some new silicone on it and put it on bike, but to be safe and let the silicone cure I am waiting to put oil in until monday or tuesday night, So I guess I will see if I fixed it then, other wise I found a new oil pan online for $120 say I amy have to go that route, also broke my vise today and a 17mm wrench, having a killer weekend here.

On a good note I did go buy a motorcycle lift at harbor freight today fro $287 and a 3 year warranty for $6, had some special today. Foot pump and holds 1000lbs included wheel choke, it is really nice have the bike on it now waiting to put oil in

Some pics of some of the stuff I eventual got done this very loing weekend.
