Hi everyone just joined and am hoping to get some help with my M50.
Here is my problem: Just purchased and installed Cobra 2" drag pipes and Fi2000R fuel management system and it seems to be running a bit on the rich side. I was told I needed to install a aftermarket air cleaner and try that before I make any adjustments. This sounds like a good idea but I live in a dusty area and don't like the idea of an unprotected air filter. does anyone make an air filter that is like the stock air filter?

Have you called Cobra? I would think there would be a way to tune the bike with the stock filter just a idea

Yes I called Cobra and found out how to adjust the pots and that they set up the Fi2000 for aftermarket pipes and air cleaner. Imade the adjustments last night but have to wait to take it for a ride. It does not seem to put out the black smoke anymore and I don't smell gas so hopefully the pot adjustments will be good till I find an aircleaner that I like.

Usually you don't have to do anything fuel wise if you just change one, Intake or the exhaust. I would take the the fi2000 off until you get a highflow intake setup. the engine is not pulling in anymore air than before the exhaust was installed. modern bikes are lean from the factory especially at idle . When you crack the throttle they all go pig rich to protect the engine so an pc111 or fi2000 is not necessary. God Speed, God Bless Mack

got my hyper charger in and install sure can notice a difference in proformance

I now have the 2" cobra drag pipes, Fi2000r, and hyper charger installed and going to ride it for a while to check fuel mileage before messing with settings on the Fi2000.
